Physiotherapy

Precise, whole-body care for movement, recovery and long-term wellbeing

At Lockyer Valley Allied Health, Narelle Webb brings over 20 years of physiotherapy expertise to every consultation — combining advanced clinical skills with a genuine, whole-person approach. She takes the time to understand not just where you're struggling, but why — looking at how your whole body moves, compensates, and adapts, not just the symptom in front of her.

Narelle works with people of all ages — from babies and children through to older adults — and tailors every session to your individual presentation, history, and goals.

What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a regulated, government-recognised allied health profession focused on restoring and optimising movement, function, and quality of life. It is grounded in anatomy, biomechanics, and evidence-based practice — and in the right hands, it goes far beyond generic exercises and advice.

Narelle draws on a broad and advanced skill set, including:

  • Hands-on manual therapy including joint mobilisation, soft tissue release, and myofascial techniques

  • Dry needling (GEMt Advanced) for pain management and muscle function

  • Clinical Pilates (APPI certified, including pre and postnatal) for rehabilitation and strength

  • Lymphatic drainage for post-surgical recovery, swelling, and complex conditions

  • Lower limb biomechanics and orthopaedic assessment

  • Postural, functional, and movement screening to identify the root cause — not just the pain site

  • Exercise prescription and rehabilitation, including use of our on-site gym

  • Education, prevention, and long-term self-management strategies

Narelle is trained to recognise when referral or collaborative care is needed and works closely with the broader Lockyer Valley Allied Health team and external providers to support you fully.

Our Approach

We know that many people arrive at Lockyer Valley Allied Health having already tried a lot — and sometimes feeling dismissed, rushed, or handed a generic exercise sheet. Narelle does things differently.

  • She offers longer appointments so there's time to actually listen

  • She explains what she's finding — and what it means for you

  • She builds realistic, practical plans that fit around your life

  • She treats you as a whole person, not a collection of symptoms

Narelle's care is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and built on genuine therapeutic relationship. Whether you're coming in for a one-off assessment or ongoing support, you will be seen, heard, and taken seriously.

Who We Help

Narelle has particular expertise and passion in the following areas:

👶 Babies & Children Narelle's paediatric physiotherapy training, combined with her personal experience as a mother to five children — including children with complex medical needs — gives her a rare depth of understanding when it comes to working with young patients and their families. She supports children experiencing musculoskeletal concerns, developmental movement delays, orthopaedic conditions, and postural issues, with a calm, child-friendly approach that puts both kids and parents at ease.

🧠 Neurodiversity & Complex Needs Narelle understands that for neurodivergent children and adults, a standard clinical approach often falls short. She tailors her communication, environment, and treatment to meet each person where they are — offering sensory-aware, flexible care that respects individual needs and builds trust over time. She works with families navigating complex presentations where the dots haven't always been connected.

💠 Pelvic Health (External) Narelle offers external pelvic health physiotherapy for women at all life stages — from early adulthood through to menopause and beyond. Using a whole-body, biomechanical lens, she addresses pelvic girdle pain, hip and sacroiliac dysfunction, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal changes, and postnatal recovery including c-section scar rehabilitation. Her approach is gentle, evidence-based, and deeply informed by both clinical expertise and lived experience.

🌊 Continence Support (External) For clients experiencing bladder or bowel dysfunction, Narelle provides external continence assessment and management — including postural, breathing, and movement-based strategies to support continence without internal examination. She works collaboratively with women's health providers where internal assessment is indicated, ensuring you receive seamless, well-rounded care.

💪 Injury, Rehabilitation & Sports Performance With a career that has taken her to the Australian Institute of Sport and elite sporting teams including The Diamonds and the Brumbies, Narelle brings a high-performance lens to everyday rehabilitation. Whether you're recovering from injury, returning to sport, managing a workplace strain, or trying to move better after surgery or illness, she combines hands-on care with targeted exercise rehabilitation to get you back to doing what you love.

🦴 Hip, Pelvis & Lower Limb The hip and pelvis are Narelle's clinical home. With advanced training in lower limb biomechanics, fascial anatomy (Thomas Myers Fascial Trains), and orthopaedic physiotherapy, she is equipped to assess and treat complex hip, knee, and pelvic presentations that have often been missed or mismanaged elsewhere.
